Ren. Faire. Memories

Double-sided cloaks tempting my wallet - one would fit my brother, one would fit me, but not ready to pay the price.

Men throwing tomatoes and missing the man inside every single time.

Jousting tournament "to the death" until the actors get up and bow. One horse decided to put on its own show, after the rider accidentally/on purpose fell off, by wildly bucking and prancing about the arena.

The story told by two "mariners":
"One day on the high seas twins were sent up to the crow's nest to ring the bell to warn the sailors of the coming storm. In the fury of the wind and sea, the hammer broke off and one twin used the other's head to ring the bell. The sailors came and saved the ship, but, alas, the twins had fallen to their death. Unfortunately, no one could seem to remember their names. The captain walked across the ship, with big thumping steps, right up to one twin and brought his voice really low and said: "this face rings a bell." Then he walked over to the other twin and said: "this one's a dead ringer." Hehehe.

Shakespeare stories each told in four minutes, using tunes from songs like Gilligan's Island, The Brady Bunch, and Evita to sing part of each tale. Hamlet told in "Dick and Jane" style. ("Run Hamlet, Run") Hee. REALLY good, especially for only having three actors. ^_^ (Kudos to including a 'Star Wars' fight scene, one 'Star Trek' Checkov lookalike wig (lol)...etc.)

The Queen of the Faire.

My brother getting mock strangled by a ninja. ^_^

Juggling.

Prints of maps and a thesis of why children learning music and dancing in school was evil (lol) in a print shop, and advertisements for Cambridge.

Tiny children dressed in cute costumes.

Puritans being mortified by Ren. Faire goers putting colorful ribbons on them. =P

HUZZAH! HUZZAH! HUZZAH! ^_~

The "Merry Wives of Windsor".

Bath-house fun. ^_~

"Oh no! I've been sheeped!" heehehe
(Puppets are sooo much fun! My favorite actually was the dormouse.)
